Mike Mentzer theory sound about right. It is a matter of ideal response of the body.
1 set of 10 but very slow reps, allowing for isolation, targeted form and causing the weight to work the muscle.
Not excluding an anabolic an hour before a workout. Cycling between an anabolic, and two non-anabolics, perhaps GH secretogogue and another and other supplements such as nitric oxide booster to boost oerall performance.
Mike Mentzer states, its a mistake to train two days in a row. It is not enough time to allow for full recovery and full growth. he suggest a 72 hour to 92 hour training program. He suggest 1 day on and 2 or 3 days off. However having to get money worth out of the gym membership I would say 1 on and 2 days off. That means when you do in there, you got to go to the maximum.
- Monday: back and chest
- Tuesday: off
- Wednesday: off
- Thursday: shoulders and arms
- Friday: off
- Saturday: off
- Sunday: legs
Skipping two days each time.
