Automation means that machines and robots do the tasks human beings used to do. These mundane tasks are tasks people find loathsome, and they are better automated.

It is a shift from these mundane tasks to brain work. There is likely no limit to the amount of people that would be employed in improving A.I. and O.I. and robotics.

Some people want to believe that A.I. will end jobs. They used to say the same things about the internet, but the opposite happened, it created more jobs than before.

We are DeSci, and so we are proponents of an automation, A.I. and O.I. transformation.
